Fast & Reliable Well Pump Repair Services

Did you know that a well water pump typically only lasts about ten years? If your pump is getting up in age, it could be time for a replacement. Common symptoms of a failing pump include:

  • Inconsistent water delivery and poor water flow
  • Low or fluctuating water pressure
  • Air sputtering from faucets
  • Dirty or cloudy water indicating the need for a sediment filter
  • Pump running constantly to keep up with water demand
  • Clicking or unusual noises
  • High electricity bills
  • Frequent tripping of breaker

The last stage of pump failure is no water. Not every service provider can install a pump quickly. At Ayers, we offer same-day service and keep our trucks fully stocked with quality stainless steel pumps.

We Service All Types of Well Pumps

Submersible Well Pump Repair

The most common type of pump used in Northeast Ohio and our preferred well pump type, submersible pumps are all-in-one units that drop into systems or wells with narrow openings. Typically, these pumps will need to be pulled out via the drop pipe from the main well pipe for a full evaluation.

FAQ

  • How long does a well pump last?

Whether your home is on city water or uses a well, there is a line that runs from the water source into your home. This is your main water line, and it is your responsibility as a homeowner to repair and maintain it. This line is protected underground, but it can still encounter issues due to age, nearby construction disrupting it, or tree roots damaging the pipe. Ayers water line repair can handle all aspects of keeping your water line in top shape.

  • How much does well pump repair cost?

Typically, once a well pump stops working, it cannot be repaired – only replaced. The cost of a new well pump depends on your system size.

  • How quickly can you restore water service?

It often depends on the type of repair or installation and the situation. In most cases, typical repairs can be done in one day.

  • What causes a well pump to stop working?

Yes. Although these types of connections are often different and require a different type of knowledge and skillset – we offer decades of experience working on both types of water line installations.

  • Do you service all pump brands?

We service all water wells and can replace a pump even in rural settings.

  • Is it better to repair or replace my pump?

Once a pump stops working, it often cannot be repaired. Typically, vital parts are beyond repair: the motor has burnt out, the impeller is worn, or the pressure switch has failed. Once we determine that a pump is no longer working, we’ll install a high-quality all stainless-steel replacement pump.

  • Do you offer emergency service?

Assuring our customers have a reliable supply of water is important to us. We offer same day service in most situations where our customers are without water or their water pressure is so low they are unable to run their home’s faucets.
